Ange Webb

Ange was born and raised in Saddleworth on the Lancashire moors, England. There she attended a Church of England Primary school, and then Saddleworth High school, where she successfully completed her secondary school education.

Throughout her childhood, Ange had a keen interest in horses, and became a competitive horsewoman, competing in 1-day eventing, cross country and show jumping disciplines. Her natural competitive instinct and drive for equestrian sports resulted in success at all levels of competitions.

After High School she studied for her National Vocational Qualifications in Business and Administration and also obtained a qualification as an accounts technician.

Ange had a great desire to travel and see the world. She spent the next 6 years visiting all sorts of places as a flight attendant in the UK, where she impressed her bosses and was quickly promoted to Flight Purser, where in addition to flight safety and cabin service she was responsible for training and development of junior cabin staff. Ange enjoyed the training and development side of her work so much she decided that she wanted to focus her career on teaching.

After a fairytale wedding in a castle, Ange moved to Hong Kong 2 years ago. She spends her weekdays teaching English at one of Hong Kong’s international schools, with particular emphasis on targeted support learning. Ange really enjoys the challenge of teaching and derives a lot of personal satisfaction from the impact and effect she has on children.

In her spare time Ange enjoys travelling around South East Asia, and her hobbies include playing netball for HKFC, hiking, SCUBA diving and generally keeping fit.
