Judy Lai

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Judy completed her primary and secondary education in Marymount Primary and Secondary School before obtaining a scholarship to study in Li Po Chun United World College, where she was awarded a bilingual IB diploma. After that, she pursued a degree in Philosophy in the University of York in the U.K..

Judy has over ten years of teaching experience and has taught in Marymount Secondary School, the British Council, Chinese University of Continuing Education and different learning centres in Hong Kong.

She has a CELTYL (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Young Learners), a PGCE and a Post-graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching from the University of Hong Kong. For the next she would like to learn about teacher training and education psychology. 

Judy considers it very fortunate that she really enjoys what she does and that teaching is her heart’s delight. She finds it a privilege to be involved in the learning and growth of her students.

In her spare time, Judy loves watching TV, reading, running and playing with her two nephews. She also enjoys volunteer work and is a long-term volunteer with Hope Worldwide.
