Ray Chan

Ray was born and raised in Wigan, a small town in the North West of England, which is famous for rugby, a pier that doesn't exist, and pies. That's why he joined Mud Pies (though as you can see from his photo, he wasn't too happy when he discovered there weren't really any pies here).

After his studies, Ray decided to follow his dream of becoming - a pop star! So from the late 90's to the early noughties, he spent lots of time with his band making music in studios across the UK and Europe, playing lots of concerts, making music videos, appearing on tv and generally having lots of fun. After the band split up, Ray decided to become an English Teacher and did his CELTA in the city of Bristol before he moved to Hong Kong.

Ray has many years experience of teaching and finds it one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs he has ever had.

When he’s not teaching, Ray enjoys playing the guitar, going to music concerts and EATING.

So here's a warning to any of his students : be careful if you bring food into his class as Ray is always hungry!
