認識 Liz 和 Mickey — Mud Pies Education 創辦人
自2007年起，連接香港與英國，培養孩子自信表達的英語能力。
我們在2007年創立了 Mud Pies，目標只有一個：讓香港家庭獲得真正有信心、有系統、有效果的英語學習機會，建立孩子的品格、自信與長遠發展。
作為來自英國和香港的父母，我們深明現今家庭的需要：一個像家一樣溫暖的學習空間、一群真心投入的老師，以及一套結合國際標準與本地理解的課程。
我們從來不打算成為一般補習社，而是建立一所真正獨立的英語學校，專注於自信表達、溝通能力，以及幫助孩子在學業、面試與未來海外發展中站穩腳步。
Liz 是我們的校長，也是學校課程的靈魂人物。來自英國，是英語母語教師，全面負責 Mud Pies 的教學設計與教學質素。
她擁有超過20年在英國與香港教學的經驗，專長於拼音教學（RWI）、英文寫作與英國升學準備。她同時是英國莎士比亞故鄉 Stratford-upon-Avon 一所公立小學的校董，並親自訓練每一位 Mud Pies 老師，監察所有學生的學習進度。
每位新生都會先由 Liz 親自進行一對一評估，確保孩子從適合的起點開始，獲得針對性的支持，建立真正的信心。
如您孩子正計劃報讀英國學校，Liz 亦提供個人化的英國升學顧問服務。
Mickey 出生於香港，與 Liz 共同創立 Mud Pies，致力為本地家庭建立一所真正了解家長需要，同時堅守英式教育價值的學校。
他擁有建築及系統思維背景，負責學校的日常營運、環境設計與家長溝通。他是學校與家庭之間的重要橋樑，確保 Mud Pies 一直保持溫暖、有秩序、可信賴。
他相信，一個穩定運作的校園，能讓老師專注教學、學生專注成長，自然帶來自信與成果。
Mud Pies 的起點是一個很簡單的念頭 —— 給孩子一個快樂、安全、充滿支持的地方，讓他們愛上英語。
我們很感恩，這個小小的想法成就了一個受到家長信賴的學校社群，孩子由拼音開始，漸漸成為會寫作、敢演講，甚至升讀頂尖英國學校的小學習者。
但在所有成果之上，我們最重視的，依然是這一點：
每個孩子都被看見、被聆聽、被支持。
這仍然是我們每天堅持的核心。

Meet Liz & Mickey — Founders of Mud Pies Education
Bridging Hong Kong and the UK to build confident, expressive children in English since 2007.
We started Mud Pies in 2007 with one goal: to give Hong Kong families access to English learning that builds confidence, character, and long-term success.
As parents ourselves — with roots in both the UK and Hong Kong — we understood what families truly needed: a nurturing space that feels like home, led by caring teachers, with a curriculum that balances global standards and local understanding.
We didn’t set out to become a “tutorial center.” We built an independent English education school focused on expression, confidence, and preparing children to thrive — in school, in interviews, and on the global stage.
Liz is our Principal and the heart of our curriculum. A native English speaker from the UK, she leads all academic and teaching direction at Mud Pies.
She brings over 20 years of experience in both British and Hong Kong schools, and is a specialist in phonics, English writing, and UK school preparation. She serves as a board member at a UK state primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon and has personally trained every teacher at Mud Pies. Liz also oversees all student assessments and learning progression.
Every child at Mud Pies begins with a one-on-one online assessment from Ms Liz — ensuring the right start, tailored support, and lasting confidence. For children preparing to study overseas, Liz also offers personalised British school consultation sessions.
Mickey was born and raised in Hong Kong and co-founded Mud Pies to create a school that meets local families’ expectations while upholding British educational values.
With a background in architecture and systems thinking, he supports daily school operations, learning environment design, and parent communication. Mickey ensures Mud Pies remains warm, structured, and consistent — and acts as the day-to-day link between families and the team.
His focus is making sure the school runs smoothly so that teachers and students can focus on what matters: learning, growth, and confidence.
We began Mud Pies as a small idea — to create a joyful, safe place for children to fall in love with English.
What we’ve built is a trusted school community where children start with phonics, grow into confident writers, speak proudly on stage, and even go on to study in top UK schools.
But beyond academics, what matters most to us is this: every child feeling seen, heard, and supported. That’s still at the heart of everything we do.
