我們在 2007 年創立了 Mud Pies Education，目標只有一個：為香港家庭提供優質的英文教育，培養孩子的自信、品格與長遠的學習能力。
作為來自英國與香港的父母，我們深明現今家庭的真正需要：一個充滿關愛的學習環境、結合國際標準與本地理解的課程，以及一所真正重視每一位孩子的地方。
Liz 是我們的校長，來自英國的母語英語老師，全面負責 Mud Pies 的課程設計與教學方向。她擁有超過 20 年的教學經驗，曾任教於英國與香港多間學校，專長包括幼兒拼音、創意寫作及英國學校升學準備。她的教學風格溫暖而有結構，幫助學生建立自信與流利的表達能力。
Liz 現居於英國莎士比亞的故鄉史特拉福 (Stratford-upon-Avon)，並擔任當地一所小學的校董，同時與多間頂尖英國私立學校保持緊密聯繫。這些人脈與經驗讓我們能為有意升學英國的學生，提供第一手的面試準備與教育指導，確保課程與時並進，具備全球視野。
Mickey 在香港出生長大，擁有建築及系統思維背景，是 Mud Pies 的共同創辦人，負責學校的營運管理與長遠發展。他默默在背後為教學環境、品牌經營及家長溝通提供支持，確保我們的理念貫徹一致，並兼顧香港家庭的文化期望與教育需要。
我們攜手創立的 Mud Pies，已成為位於銅鑼灣、深受家長信賴的優質英語教育中心，融合了東方的關懷與西方的教學標準。我們所有老師（包括香港的面授教師及英國的網上教師）都是母語英語教師，並由我們親自培訓，確保每位孩子都能在有愛、有架構的環境中成長。
所有新生都會先由 Ms Liz 進行一對一的網上評估，以了解學生的程度與需要。若家長希望為孩子規劃英國升學路徑，Ms Liz 亦提供個人化的英國升學顧問服務，提供專業建議與準備方向。

2007 年創立 Mud Pies 時，我們只是希望為孩子創造一個愉快而有意義的英語學習環境。今天，看到越來越多家庭信任我們，讓我們成為孩子成長路上的一部分，這份感動與責任一直驅使我們不斷進步。
我們親眼見證學生從學習拼音開始，到能自信地表達、寫作、甚至成功升讀英國頂尖學校。
但比起學術成就，我們更在乎的是：每一位孩子在這裡都感受到被重視、被支持、被鼓勵。這，就是我們一直堅持的初衷。

We founded Mud Pies Education in 2007 with one goal: to give Hong Kong families access to English learning that builds confidence, character, and long-term success.
As parents ourselves — with roots in both the UK and Hong Kong — we understand what today’s families truly need: a nurturing space that feels like home, a curriculum that combines global standards with local understanding, and above all, a place where every child is known, supported, and inspired to thrive.
Liz, our Principal and a native English speaker from the UK, leads all academic and teaching direction at Mud Pies. With over 20 years of experience teaching in both British and Hong Kong schools, she specialises in early childhood phonics, creative writing, and UK school preparation. She brings a warm but structured approach to every classroom — helping children grow into confident, expressive communicators.
Liz also serves as a board member at a UK state primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon, where we are currently based. She maintains close ties with top UK independent schools, giving our students unique insight and guidance when preparing for interviews, entrance exams, or overseas transitions. Her ongoing work in the UK education space ensures that Mud Pies remains current, connected, and globally aware.
Mickey, born and raised in Hong Kong, co-founded Mud Pies with a background in architecture and systems thinking. He supports the school’s strategic direction and daily operations, helping shape a learning environment that reflects both British educational values and Hong Kong families’ expectations. His behind-the-scenes work ensures that Mud Pies remains thoughtful, consistent, and rooted in purpose.
Together, we’ve created a trusted English education centre in Causeway Bay that blends the best of East and West. All of our teachers — whether onsite in Hong Kong or online from the UK — are native English speakers and personally trained by us to uphold the Mud Pies standard: warm, structured, and child-focused. To ensure every student gets the right start, all new classes begin with a one-on-one online assessment with Ms Liz. For families considering overseas study, Ms Liz also offers personalised online British school consultation sessions to help you prepare with confidence.
Message from the Founders
When we first started Mud Pies in 2007, we didn’t imagine it would become such a meaningful part of so many families’ lives — and ours.
What began as a small idea — to create a safe, joyful place for children to fall in love with English — has grown into a community we’re deeply proud of. We’ve watched students go from their first phonics lesson to writing confidently, speaking proudly on stage, and even gaining places at top UK schools.
But more than academics, what matters most to us is this: every child feeling seen, heard, and supported. That’s still at the heart of everything we do.
